Sky Island Resort in Ponta Malongane is one of southern Mozambique’s known paragliding spots. From the high coastal dune, views open across the Indian Ocean, the long beach and the green coastal landscape.
Guests without flying experience can book a tandem flight with an experienced pilot and see the coast from a perspective hidden from the ground. Paragliding lessons are also offered on site.
For a few minutes, the landscape changes completely: sea, dunes and coastal forest become a single line beneath your feet.
Good to know
Paragliding is offered by independent specialist operators and depends entirely on wind and weather conditions. For safety reasons, all flights are confirmed directly by the operator shortly beforehand.
