1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website, making an enquiry, submitting a reservation request, or staying at any property operated by Nova Atlantis, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use this website or make a booking.
2. Definitions
“Property” means any accommodation, villa, apartment, lodge, room, residence, or facility offered by Nova Atlantis. “Guest” means any individual occupying or using the Property. “Booking” means a confirmed reservation accepted by Nova Atlantis. “Website” means any website operated by Nova Atlantis.
3. Booking and Reservations
Reservations become effective only after: submission of a booking request; acceptance by Nova Atlantis; receipt of any required payment or deposit. Nova Atlantis reserves the right to refuse any booking at its sole discretion.
4. Rates and Charges
All prices displayed are in the currency indicated on the Website. Unless expressly stated otherwise, rates may exclude: government taxes; tourism taxes; local fees; additional services; transportation; optional excursions. Guests remain responsible for all applicable charges.
5. Deposit and Payment
Nova Atlantis may require: full prepayment; partial deposit; payment guarantee by approved payment method. Failure to make payment within the required period may result in cancellation of the reservation.
6. Cancellation Policy
Unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation: Guest Cancellation. More than 30 days before arrival: deposit refundable less administrative fees. 30 days or less before arrival: deposit may be forfeited. No-show: no refund. Early Departure. No refund is guaranteed for shortened stays after check-in.
7. Changes by Guest
Booking modifications are subject to: availability; applicable rate differences; administrative charges. Nova Atlantis is under no obligation to approve requested changes.
8. Property Availability
While every effort will be made to provide the reserved accommodation, Nova Atlantis reserves the right to: relocate guests to equivalent accommodation; substitute booked units; cancel reservations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control. In such cases, liability shall be limited to amounts paid for the affected reservation.
9. Check-In and Check-Out
Unless otherwise specified: Check-In: after 15:00. Check-Out: before 11:00. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
10. Guest Responsibilities
Guests agree to: respect local laws; maintain the accommodation in reasonable condition; avoid nuisance or disturbance to neighbouring guests; supervise children at all times; use facilities safely and responsibly. Guests are responsible for damage caused by themselves or members of their party.
11. Maximum Occupancy
Occupancy limits specified for each accommodation must not be exceeded without prior written approval. Unauthorized additional occupants may result in immediate termination of the stay.
12. Security Deposit
Nova Atlantis may require a refundable security deposit. Deductions may be made for: damage; excessive cleaning; missing items; violations of these Terms.
13. House Rules
Guests must comply with all house rules provided before or during their stay. Nova Atlantis reserves the right to remove guests who fail to comply with reasonable rules relating to: safety; security; noise; property protection; guest conduct.
14. Force Majeure
Nova Atlantis shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from events beyond reasonable control, including: natural disasters; floods; cyclones; pandemics; war; civil unrest; power failures; government actions; transportation disruptions.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: Nova Atlantis shall not be liable for: indirect damages; consequential damages; lost profits; personal property loss; interruption of travel plans. Liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant booking.
16. Health and Safety
Guests participate in activities, excursions and recreational facilities at their own risk. Guests are responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance covering: travel; cancellation; personal injury; medical treatment; loss of personal belongings.
17. Website Disclaimer
Information presented on this Website is provided for general informational purposes. Nova Atlantis does not guarantee that: the Website will always be available; information will always be error-free; content will always be current.
18. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website including: text; photographs; logos; graphics; videos; designs; remains the property of Nova Atlantis or its licensors. No content may be copied, distributed, modified, or commercially used without prior written permission.
19. Privacy
The collection and processing of personal information are governed by the Nova Atlantis Privacy Policy. By using the Website and booking services, Guests acknowledge and accept that Privacy Policy.
20. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Mozambique. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of Mozambique unless otherwise agreed in writing.
21. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
22. Amendments
Nova Atlantis reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on the Website and become effective upon publication.
