Not every adventure needs a scuba tank. Snorkelling also opens up the underwater world of southern Mozambique, depending on conditions along sheltered stretches of coast or on guided trips.
The warm waters of the Indian Ocean reveal tropical fish and the coastal landscape below the surface. For anyone who prefers a gentler pace, it is a wonderful way to get closer to the sea without heading deep underwater.
Mask on, head underwater, and for a while everything else becomes remarkably quiet.
